James graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2006 with a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Design.

In his final year, James designed and built a working model of a belay device incorporating an innovative safety feature which won him the technical faculty’s award for innovation sponsored by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

James is currently working towards an MSc in Lift & Escalator Technology at Northampton University and is an integral part of our engineering resources team and aids in the continuity of customer services.
