Manfred’s knowledge is based on 40 years of experience with Otis. After starting in Engineering with roped and hydraulic lift design, he proceeded in 1969 with development engineering for commercial and public escalators as well as walkways for both market segments.

At the same time he led the specification for escalators, walkways, roped and hydraulic lifts. Since 1981 he was responsible for worldwide technical sales support for commercial and public transport escalators and walkways in Otis.

Manfred has successfully handled major metro projects in Asia, Europe, South America and the USA. He was further involved in contracts for Metro Paris, London Subway, German Subways & Airports, Spanish Subways, Italian Subways & Airports as well as several huge department and office buildings all over Asia.
